Slow-growing evergreen tree to 20-25’ tall x 10-15’ wide. This tough yet very attractive Australian native features gracefully weeping branches clothed with narrow, silvery-blue foliage that makes this durable species a visual standout in the landscape. Small pale-yellow flowers may appear in late-fall, though blooming is inconsistent and mostly inconspicuous. Adding further appeal to this species is the deeply-fissured gray bark that exhibits an orange-red tone in the deeper furrows of the bark. With its beautiful weeping appearance, this selection is impressive in most any setting, but is especially well-suited as a patio, courtyard, entryway, street or foundation tree, as well as making a fine large container specimen. Tolerates a variety of soil types (provided they’re well-drained), requires little water once established, and thrives in a full sun exposure.
