Moderate-growing, clumping evergreen perennial to 8-12” tall x 10-15” wide. Agapanthus have long been admired for their tough nature and dazzling floral display. This attractive, dwarf, variegated variety forms a soft mound of narrow, arching, strap-like green leaves edged in creamy-white. An outstanding color and texture contrast to broad-leafed shrubs and perennials. Ball-shaped clusters of funnel-shaped light blue flowers appear atop 15-20” tall stems in summer, attracting butterflies and bees. Remove old flower spikes as they expire to promote re-blooming. While less floriferous than many green-leafed varieties, the attractive variegated foliage still makes this selection a highly-desirable landscape specimen. This versatile variety is well-suited in a variety of applications, and is an ideal choice for beds and borders, as an accent, edging, poolside or mass planting. Also makes a good container specimen. Tolerates coastal conditions and a variety of soil types (provided they’re well-drained) and while capable of surviving on little water once established, a more robust plant is achieved with regular watering in a full to partial sun exposure.
