Asparagus densiflorus ‘Myers Fern’ has many stiffly upright stems growing to 2 ft. or more densely clothed with needlelike deep green leaves that give the plant a fluffy look. It grows best in full sun or part shade and is hardy to Zone 9 but should be protected during cold weather. The mature height and width is about 2 ft. by 4 ft. Flowers are insignificant white blooms and then come showy red berries. ‘Myers Fern’ likes well draining soil and regular irrigation.
