Crassula ovata ‘Gollum’ sometimes called Gollum Jade is a small succulent growing to 2 to 3 feet tall by 1 to 2 feet wide. It has a shrub-like habit with small tubular leaves that have a reddish tint. ‘Gollum Jade’ has leaves that are nearly tubular and appear to be suction cups on the tips. The trunk of Gollum Jade becomes thick with age and develops stem patterns that draw interest. In late fall and early winter there will appear pinkish white star-like flowers. ‘Gollum Jade’ is good for container gardening and also Bonsai. Plant Gollum Jade in full sun to bright shade
