Euonymus j. Aureo-Variegata is a variegated form of euonymus japonica. It is one of the few shrubs that maintain their variegations in full sun and hot summer weather. Euonymus j. Aureo-Variegata is an evergreen shrub with an upright growth habit. It has an umbrella-shaped top. Euonymus j. Aureo-Variegata withstands pruning to keep it a smaller size or it can be trained as a tree. As a tree it possesses an attractive “curving” trunk. Leaves have brilliant yellow blotches with green edges and are oval in shape with a glossy leathery texture. It is best grown in full sun.
