Hosta ‘Aureo-Marginata’ features a 12 to 16 inch tall mound of medium variegated basal leaves which have deep green centers and thin golden margins. The foliage mound can spread to 18 to 24 inches wide. Lavender flowers appear in summer rising well above the foliage mound to as much 32 inches tall. Sometimes is called Hosta fortunei variegata aureomarginata.
