Mandevilla is a flower bearing tropical evergreen vine.   It is very popular with Village Nurseries customers and Landscape Center employees alike.  Mandevilla require full sun and like warm temperatures to do their best.  Red Fury Mandevilla blooms from spring through fall with stunning red flowers that have faint yellow throats.  Hummingbirds are definitely attracted to the garden when these plants are in bloom.  Red Fury and other Mandevilla are often grown in containers.

This particular mandevilla is also sometimes called a dipladenia. Mandevilla typically have larger leaves and flowers while dipladenia and other hybrid mandevillea have smaller leaves and flowers.  Dipladenia have also been known as Mexican Love Vines.  They become very fast growing the hotter it gets.
